One of the main purposes behind our web development strategy is to improve communications. To keep in better contact with existing members and supporters, their families and friends; to communicate with the wider Institution especially lodges in England and Scotland, and to foster better relations with the wider Orange Family.

Secondly we believe that many members of the Protestant Unionist and Loyalist communities share our ethos and ideas and would be an asset to our lodge and Institution, to that end we hope to be more open and inviting and share our history as well as our plans for the future. The battles for our faith, freedom and heritage are often better fought online and we at McNeillstown have always been to the fore in defending our faith and culture.

Finally we are genuine in our convictions and believe that our case must be communicated to an international audience, our faith must be conveyed to all peoples and that our rich culture and history should be showcased. To that end we encourage comment, debate, and contribution.

We have chosen wordpress as it gives the perfect combination of static site with dynamic blog style content. We hope to keep adding information both of substantial article quality on issues such as Faith, Culture, and the Constitution. The most up to date information will always be on our Facebook pages, and Twitter. If all else fails there is still the old fashioned post, or telephone. If you contact the lodge via one of these mediums we will provide a land line or mobile and someone will get back to you.
